The following was emailed to ZOLL | emsCharts for Windows Administrators on January 27th, 2022
To accommodate the COVID-19-related resource constraints many customers are currently experiencing, ZOLL Data Systems has temporarily halted the disablement of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 set for January 30, 2022. We will communicate the new date for planned disablement after ensuring that all ZOLL emsCharts customers have resources in place and target dates for this migration.
Meanwhile, if you have resources available and have not yet prepared for the disablement, please complete the following actions as soon as possible.
Please ensure that your agency has upgraded all its devices to ZOLL emsCharts for Windows version 3.8.2 (released March 2021) or higher. We strongly recommend that all agencies switch to the newest version of the application, 4.1.
At this time importing ZOLL Cloud EKGs on emsCharts for Windows will only function correctly when EKG Report Image Type is set to Default (Leave as JPG, Bitmap).
Any EKGs imported with the setting set to either Single Image per PDF(multiple PDFs) or Multi-image PDF Document (single PDF) will show “Unexpected error” .
We are currently evaluating the work required to support the PDF import in the Windows application, but we don’t have an estimated delivery date to share with you yet.
How do I set EKG Report Image Type?
As an Administrator go to Configuration > Service > Code Tables > Web EKG Configuration
IMPORTANT! To take advantage of the new emsCharts for Windows EKG Cloud Import functionality, you must first uninstall your existing version of emsCharts for Windows even if you are already on version 4. If you do not already have emsCharts for Windows installed, you can proceed with a normal installation.
